Mrs. Debra Ann Hart Thompson was born to the late Kato and Mary Hart on Thursday, October 13, 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama. She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Elder M.B. Cottingham at Clark’s Temple Spiritual Church. She later joined and served faithfully at Ebenezer Victory Empowerment Church until her health failed. She was educated in the Jefferson County Schools system and graduate from Pinson Valley High School.
Debra married Stanley Thompson and was a devoted wife until his death.
She never gave up but, her sweet heart gave out on Friday, March 23, 2018.
Debra was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Thompson, her parents Kato and Mary Hart and her brother Leon Hart. Sr.
Debra leaves to Cherish her memories: three daughters: Keisha Hart, LaTisha Hart, and Miesha Hart and one son, Maciah Hart Thompson all of Birmingham, Alabama; six grandchildren: D’lonta Melton, Calvin Hunter, MiKala Hart, Bralen Hart, Paris Hart, India Hart, and Asia Hart all of Birmingham, Alabama; five brothers Carlos (Betty) Aldridge, and Gerald (Barbara) Hart both of Birmingham, Alabama, Michael Hart, Ronald Hart, and Kato (Mary) Hart, Jr. all of Detroit, Michigan; six sisters: Catherine Hart of Detroit, Michigan, Rita Johnson, Johnnie May, Etter White, Alvita Hart, Katie Hart all of Birmingham, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
