Carlos L. Browning was born on October 20, 1972, in Selma, Alabama, to Ms. Rio Brooks and Mr. Frank Bobby Paige.
He was educated in the Selma City School System and graduated from Selma High School in 1991. He was scouted by Coach Barlow and signed with UAB to play basketball. He graduated from UAB with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication. He was blessed to use his talent to play professional basketball in the European Basketball League.
Carlos married the love of his life, Jessica Clark, on June 11, 2004. He was a devoted and loving husband.
He made one of the most important decisions of his life and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior on June 4, 2010.
Carlos loved coaching basketball and shared that love by instructing both girls and boys at Huffman Baptist, AAU and through his own basketball camp at First Baptist Woodlawn. His love for people propelled him to encourage others though their time of trouble. He was a great father, very funny and loved to make people laugh. He was a bright light to so many.
Carlos found peace and departed from his journey on this earth on June 3, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ms. Rio Brooks.
