Byron Keith Kennedy

Mr. Byron Keith Kennedy was born September 30, 1956, to Mr. John K. Kennedy & Gertrude Patman Kennedy. 

Byron attended Jared F. Finney High School, in Detroit Michigan.  He later joined the U.S. Army and received an Honorable discharge.  He worked at Detroit Cheverolet/Holbrook Gear and Axle for many years, before becoming disabled.  He loved listening to music, playing dominoes, chess and as a child he loved playing hockey.

Byron was preceded in death by his parents: John K. Kennedy and Gertrude Kennedy, three brothers: Aaron Lee Patman, Kenneth Lloyd Kennedy and Christopher Vance Kennedy and his son: Darius Kennedy.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his children Brian Kennedy, Shani Kennedy, Amber Austin and Byron Austin; his siblings Darlene (Rev. Harold) Stephens of Southfield, MI, Leslie (E.Q.) Eckford of Marks, MS, Alison Kennedy of Rockledge, FL, Brenda Rodgers of Thomaston, AL, Darin (Lisa) Kennedy of Macomb Township, MI, Charles (Nell)  Kennedy of Myrtle Beach, SC and Eugene (Lynetta) Kennedy; his grandchildren, very devoted friends:  Shaneya Pledger of Birmingham, AL, Katie Henderson  of Birmingham, AL and Edna Black of Thomaston, AL., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
