Bridget G. Hill-Jackson was born August 2, 1960, to Mr. William B. Hill, Jr and Mrs. Sarah L. Bonner-Hill. Gail, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, was a very lively child. Her grandfather named her “Baby Duck” and her older cousin “Junior” called her “Bardot”.
She accepted Christ and spoke about God’s goodness to everyone she met.
Gail was educated in the Birmingham and Toledo Public School Systems. She graduated from A.H. Parker High School in 1978. She attended Jefferson State Community College and in Memphis, Tennessee, where she studied Journalism and Writing.
Gail was preceded in death by her father Mr. William B. Hill, Jr., nephew Jacques Jerrell Hill, and her great-niece Courtlin LaShawn Arrington.
Gail’s loving memories will be cherished by her mother: Mrs. Sarah L. Bonner-Hill; daughter: Bridget M. Torrey (Daniel); three sons: Curtis L. Brown, Jr., Cevin T. Brown, Sr., Christopher D. Brown, all of Birmingham, AL; Siblings: Myrna B.Prince (George),Cheryl D. Hill, Billie J. Hill, William B. Hill, III; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
