Brandon D. Williams was born July 3, 1981, to Mr. Walter Williams Jr. and Anaya McKinnon in Birmingham, Alabama. He went on to be educated at Carver High School.
At an early age, he joined Hayes Chapel Baptist Church. He later became a member of Greater New Antioch Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend L. N. Craig.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willie Frank Tate; his aunt, Tenice Benson; brother, Emmanuel Brock; and niece, Alexandria Williams. At the age of 37, he peacefully departed from us on Monday March 4, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Hospital.
His “joyful” life will forever be cherished in the lives of his family. With his favorite line: “I just called to check on you and tell you I Love You.”
He leaves to cherish: the apple of his eye a loving daughter, Anaya Williams; his devoted mother, Anaya McKinnon; step-father, James McKinnon; a special companion, Tameka Key; Five brothers: Walter (Shanta) Williams, Willie (DaShala) Tate; Andrew (Keunta) Peake; Carlos Martin, and Robert Martin all of Birmingham, Alabama. Four sisters: Latasha Robinson, Sareatha Grant, Theremeco Martin, and Antoinette Calloway all of Birmingham, Alabama. Grandparents: Betty Addy and Walter & Lucy Williams. Aunts: Jill (Charles) Johnson, Glenice (Randy) Slayton, LaTania (Larry) Hicks, Barbara Goodgam, Cynthia Minniefield, and Wanda Streeter. Uncles: Albert Tate Sr., Earnest (Cindy) Tate, Edward (Elizabeth) Tisdell, Willie Tate, Keith Tate, Clifford Williams, Fred Williams, and Mickey Broaden. Great Aunts: Mary Alice Paige and Deloise Rosabud. Best Friend: Cory Smith. God Parents: Cheryl & Michael Pryor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
