Adarrell "AD" Howard Sr. departed this life August 23, 2019 in Birmingham, AL, at the age of 38.
Adarrell was born September 16, 1980 to parents William and Janice Howard in Birmingham, AL. He attended Tarrant High School where he was a popular student and star athlete. He went on to attend Alabama State University on a football scholarship and later graduated with a bachelors of science degree in computer information. He moved to Houston, TX, in 2007 and joined Highland Home Baptist Church (Pastor Willie Copeland Jr.). He later moved to Killeen, TX, in 2011 and joined Unity Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, TX, (Pastor Richard Lewis Jr.).
Adarrell is survived by his parents: William and Janice Howard of Birmingham, AL; Grandparents: James and Annie Pearl Cunningham of Graysville, AL; Brother: Erikson (Ashley) Howard Sr. of Mccalla, AL; sister: Jamica Howard of Birmingham, AL; children: Niyah Howard and Adarrell Howard Jr. of Birmingham, AL; children: Aaliyah Howard and Sariah Howard of Houston, TX; Nephew: Erikson Howard Jr. of Mccalla, AL; Godparents: Minister James and Tammy Tate of Killeen, TX; Step children: Reginald (Iridian) Carter, Kayla Carter and Brandon Carter from Latesha Copeland all of Houston, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, god-siblings and friends.
Adarrell is preceded in death by his great grandparents Thomas and Ida Bell Howard, and Ben and Katherine Cunningham, grandmother Catherine Guice, aunt Deborah Howard and uncle Kenneth Cunningham.
