Victor M Moore

Mr. Victor M. Moore was born to the late Reverend and Mrs. V. C. (Velma Sykes) Moore on January 2, 1928 in Vance, Tuscaloosa County, AL.

The eldest of four brothers and the son of a minister, his upbringing was based and rooted in the teachings of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ.

He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Carlvin; a still-born son, parents, and wife, Mattie Holt Moore.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Bernell Buckingham and Angela Salter; two grandchildren: Derrick Buckingham, Sr. and Tanya (Timothy) Peterson; five great grandchildren: Malik Moore, Derrick Buckingham, Jr., Justin Pickens, Brianna Buckingham, and Dajah Peterson; two brothers, Thomas (Willie Mae) and Samuel; a dear cousin that was raised as a brother; Dr. Nathanael (Ann) Pollard, Jr.; a special cousin, Mrs. Johnnie Young; a friend, Ms. Velma Smart, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
