Howard Wilson born in Northport, Alabama to John L. Wilson Sr. and Alberta Taylor Wilson on October 15, 1938. The family moved to Birmingham and Westfield. Howard joined Bethel Baptist Church in Westfield and was baptized there. At 10 the family moved to Hueytown, where he joined New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Howard was a current member of Oakridge Church of Christ.

Upon graduating from Westfield High School, Howard joined the Air Force, where he served during the Korean Conflict as a      Cryptometer; after his honorable discharge her performed the same task for the Stat Department. He also worked at fine restaurants as a Maitre’d in Washington DC and Birmingham. Howard enjoyed a zest for life, dancing, music, and time with family and friends. 

Howard is preceded in death by his parents, older brother John L. Wilson Jr. and his wife Shirley. Survivors include his Sons Rodney(Jenifer) Wilson, Maryland and Dwayne Johnson, Northport,    Sister Florence Wilson-Davis, Hueytown, Grand-Daughter Jazmine Jones, Maryland, Nephews Hernandez Wilson, Tennessee, Orson Titus, Vermont and J. Howard Titus, Houston. Also great nieces Cene’ G. Titus and Ciara M. Titus, Houston and  a host of cousins and friends.
